What We Do

We support the following issues:.

  • Healthcare and Reproductive Rights
  • Environmental Protection
  • Education
  • Racial Justice
  • Religious Freedom
  • Immigration Reform
  • LGBTQIA Justice
  • Economic Justice
  • Gun Control and Criminal Justice

Action Together Suncoast is a grassroots political action organization. We watched as the rhetoric of the past election cycle threatened the very fabric of our nation. and now stand together in solidarity to protect the rights that have already been won and to fight for human rights and civil rights in the Suncoast area of Florida and beyond.

Clearly, a silver lining to this nightmare is that marginalized people who have needed more support all along are now getting it.

If I may,
I'd like to thank Dianne and every person involved with ATS that I've had the privilege to meet.
Because of you I'm experiencing a rebirth of my spirit and my voice.

The Lives We Impact

"Thank you for looking me in the eye and talking to me." The words of Eric a homeless man who had fallen off his bike and I pulled over to help early this evening. We chatted for about 30 minutes and at the end he said, " People forget we are human, they think we just want handouts. Sometimes we just need to be seen, thank.you." He continued; "We are all connected, trees, stars, plants, air, and people." My eyes met his and filled with tears...a moment that will be seared in my memory and heart forever.

We are working with Second Chance and with Black Lives Matter to get food to people in needs after hurricane Irma. Please donate so we can help as many as possible. Use the button to the right. Thanks SO much.

Sarasota Solidarity March - over 10,000!

We began with the Sarasota Solidarity March on January 21, 2017. From this gathering of over 10,000 we continue to work on the local, state, and federal level to hold our elected representatives accountable for their decisions. We do this through protests, phone calls, letters, and more. We will not be silent!
